Advanced Concealed Carry Class

This 4 Hour class covers those very next steps that everyone planning to carry a handgun for self-defense should learn. This is not a target shooting class, it’s learning to use your firearm in a realistic way to fight for your life and specifically addresses Concealed Carry issues. This is designed for current Concealed Carry License holders who would like to hone their personal protection skills for real life situations.

  Skills and Requirements Needed Coming Into this Class:
• Must be comfortable shooting on your own in a traditional static range environment.
• Must have shot at least 500 rounds within last 12 months through the gun you will be using prior to this class.
• Must understand how your gun functions and be able to load, unload, show clear. Students who need help with loading or unloading their firearm (or magazine) or struggle with understanding and handling basic malfunctions are not prepared for this class.
• Must be familiar and competent with your chosen handgun and using consistent fundamentals at a level of unconscious competency.
• For semi-automatic handguns, must be able to pull the slide back and lock it open (back) and clear a malfunction (jam).
• Must demonstrate a firm understanding of and respect for basic firearm safety rules and range etiquette.
• Must possess the mental and emotional fortitude to handle the stress of shooting in close proximity to other people. You will be working from a holster, shooting and moving NEXT to other shooters without barriers between you.
• Must have concealed weapons license or provide a copy of a recent criminal background check.

  Prerequisite Courses which will Help You Obtain the Above Skills but are Not Mandatory:
• Introduction to Handgun
• Private Instruction
  Equipment List:
• Your Chosen Handgun for Concealed Carry
• Holster for your Chosen Handgun
• Min of 2 Magazines for Semi-Automatic or Speed Loaders for Revolver
• 150-200 Rounds Ammunition (This may be purchased at the range.)
• Full-wrap Eye and Ear Protection (May be borrowed from the range.)
• Sturdy Belt (designed to hold the weight of a gun)
• Pants with Belt Loops
• Closed-toe Shoes
• No V-neck or Tank-top Shirts
• Cover Garment such as a Lightweight Button-up Shirt.
  All students must arrive with the equipment/clothing listed above, other wise you will not be able to participate in the on-range portion.
  Max # of Student to Instructor Ratio: 6:1
  Max # of Students: 6-12 depending on location
  Booking and Cancellation Policy:
  Full payment will be due to the instructor at the start of class, cash or credit. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. This card will not be charged unless you incur one of the following fees:
  $25 Administrative Fee for any schedule changes or cancellations (regardless of cause)
  $75 Late Cancellation Fee for cancellations made within 3 days of class.
  $175 No Show Fee for cancellations received after 5pm the day prior to the class and no shows.
