Bear Island Camping, biking,& hiking

Join us for a fun few days in Big Cypress National Preserve. On Saturday, some of us will be biking in Shark Valley on the 15 mile loop. Then we are heading to Bear Island Campground to spend 2 nights, hike and bike. A panther and her cub have been spotted here recently so we will be on the lookout for them. Bring all camping supplies, food, beverages and a bike. You must make reservations in advance thru Recreation.gov. Tents or campervans can stay here.
