EXPLORE: Wekiva Springs State Park

Details
Join the Florida Park Explorers at Wekiva State Park bright and early for a morning hike on the trails.
EXPECT - Walking through scenic sandhill uplands, pine stands and Florida scrub with opportunities to explore various plant communities ranging from sandhill - to river swamp, hardwood hammock, mesic fatwoods and others. We might encounter white-tailed deer, gopher tortoise, turkeys and many other bird species. Expect to breathe fresh air, watch dappled sunlight make patterns all around and maybe close your eyes and listen to the wind rustling in the trees. Are you seeing or feeling something?
