Learn how to write HyperText Markup Language (HTML) to build websites.

When you open a web browser and go to a website, the document that you see is written in HTML. Learning HTML is part of frontend development. The structure of a web page is defined by HTML.

You're going to need a computer with a web browser of your choice. For example, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Then, you are also going to need a text editor or an integrated development environment (IDE). We recommend Visual Studio Code that is freely available.
