]Being that this is the first Saturday of the college football season, I thought it would be good to stretch our legs prior to pulling up a chair in front of the television.

The plan is to do a leisurely bike ride on the Spring-to-Spring Trail. We will meet and unload our bikes at Lake Monroe Park at 10:00 AM, look for my “bright red” Ford F-150 Truck. We will then proceed to cycle around the north end of Lake Monroe up to Gemini Springs Park, then DeBary Hall, then Thornby Park, then on to Green Springs Park, for a total of around 9 miles one way. The plan is to have a picnic lunch at Green Springs Park. We will then turn around and cycle back to Lake Monroe Park, for a total of around 17 to 18 miles.

We will be wearing bike helmets on this activity, so please ensure that you have one. Please make sure that your bicycle is in good operating order prior to the outing.

It will be early September in Florida, so it will be hot! Bring plenty of water and sun screen, as well as a picnic lunch or snacks.

I am limiting the number of Meetup sign-ups to allow FTA Members to respond to the Chapter Newsletter "Footpath" and sign up for activity. As we get closer to the activity, the participant number may increase.
