Trail Maintenance Event at Mills Creek/Panorama Drive Trailhead

Join the Central Florida Chapter for a work day in Mills Creek!
What to expect: We will use a combination of power equipment and hand tools to bring the trail back up to standard. We will: mow, lop (trim) branches, paint new blazes and at times, inspect or repair infrastructure.
We will meet at the trailhead at 9:00am for a safety session. Volunteers are then divided into crews. When appropriate, crews may need to carpool and drive one vehicle to a starting location. New volunteers will be provided an orientation on the role they are assigned to and all are encouraged to try new tasks! Hard hats, tools, and other PPE will be provided.
What to bring: For all projects you will need to bring a day pack, sturdy shoes (closed toe) or boots, long pants. a long sleeve shirt which is preferable. Also, a long sleeve shirt, sunglasses, gloves, sunblock and bug spray are recommended. It could to be hot and humid. Please bring plenty of hydration fluids for your personal backpacks. Bring a lunch You will need to provide your own lunch and water.
Directions: We will meet at the Panorama Trailhead at 09:00.
To Panorama Road Trailhead:
From exit 215 on I-95, go west on State Road 50 for about 17.5 miles. Turn right on State Road 419 (Chuluota Rd) and head north for about 5 miles. Turn right on Lake Mills Rd. Follow road east then north until you reach intersection with Panorama Drive. Parking lot will be on your right.
