Where did your fellow Florida Trail members wander this summer?
This month, we’re turning the program over to our members and guests as they share stories, photos, and highlights from their summer adventures. From backcountry treks to travels overseas, we’ll hear about some of the places our chapter members explored while Florida was hot, humid, and just a little buggy.
Come enjoy an evening of adventure stories, inspiration, and good company as we reconnect and get ready for another Florida hiking season.

### 🗳️ Chapter Leadership Vote: 2026–2027

We’ll also hold our annual vote for the Central Florida Chapter leadership team for the upcoming term.
Our proposed slate is:

• Trail Coordinator – Jerry Rogers
• Membership Coordinator – David Magness
• Treasurer – Kelley Galvin
• Outreach Coordinator – Doug Kucklick
• Media Coordinator – Chris Stevens
• Activity Coordinator – Bill Turman
• Program Coordinator – Mary-Slater Linn
• Secretary – Tara Treuil

We still need a Chapter Chair!
If you’ve considered getting more involved with the Florida Trail Association, this is a great opportunity to help guide the chapter into its next year. You don’t have to do it alone. Our chapter has an experienced leadership team and a strong group of volunteers ready to help.

### 🍪 Come Early & Hang Out

Doors open at 6:30 PM for social time, with the meeting and program beginning at 7:00 PM.
Bring a snack to share if you’d like, catch up with fellow members, hear some great summer adventure stories, and help us kick off the 2026–2027 chapter year!
You do not need to be a Florida Trail Association member to attend. Guests and newcomers are always welcome.
