J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area 10-Mile Hike
Details
We will be hiking at a moderate pace to Bowman’s Island campsite, where we will take our main break to cool down and have a snack. After the break, we will hike back to our cars.
Let's meet at 7:00AM at the Powerline road (GPS 26.847908, -80.315121), no restroom facilities. Archery Season will be happening, so wear something bright.
There is a day use fee for Corbett of $3.00 per person or $6.00/ car (honor system). Please stop and pay the day use fee at the entrance, before heading to our meeting place.
The hike will around 10-Mile hike of strenuous difficulty, so you know what to bring, plenty of water (3 liters), snacks, etc. to hold you over for a day hike. We will start hiking no later than 7:15AM.
**Expect to encounter overgrown vegetation, mud and standing water on this hike**
Gloria may do a shorter hike, if the temps are cooler.

HOW TO GET THERE:
From southeast Florida, take I-95 north to Northlake Blvd.
Go west on Northlake Blvd to Seminole Pratt Whitney Road.
Go north by making a right and go straight for about 3 miles, the entrance to Corbett will be on the left. The GPS coordinates are for our meeting place, after you get into Corbett.(GPS 26.847908, -80.315121)
