Details

We will hike at a moderate pace to loop 3/4 crossover or continue to loop 4 campsite, where we will take a break to cool down and have a snack/lunch. After the break, we will hike back to our cars. It is going to be hot and physically challenging, but a lot of fun too.

**Expect to encounter overgrown vegetation, mud and standing water on this hike**

Let's meet at 7:00AM at the Governor's House ("Day Use Picnic Area"), which is about 1.5 miles straight on the dirt road after turning into Gate 1 and going past the Hunter's Check Point. Meeting place coordinates (27.000589, -80.552861). We will start hiking no later than 7:15AM.

The hike will around 11 to 14-Mile hike of strenuous difficulty, so you know what to bring, plenty of water (3+ Liters), snacks, etc. to hold you over for a day hike.

**Gloria may do a shorter hike, if the temps are cooler**
