Three Lakes WMA (Prairie Lakes Unit) 12-Mile Hike

The hunting season will be on pause and the FTA is doing the annual trail maintenance, so this is our chance to hike the trail. We will hike the figure 8 trail system at a moderate pace, half-way we will take a break to cool down and have a snack. After the break, we will hike back to our cars.

Let's meet at 7:30AM at the Entrance Parking Area, from there we head into the park on a dirt road to the middle of the figure 8 loop trail to park our Vehicles. Our meeting place GPS coordinates are 27.927789, -81.124936.

There is a day use fee of $3 per person or $6 per vehicle and no restrooms at the trailhead.

Please bring plenty of water (3 Liters), snacks, etc. to hold you over for the hike.

Gloria may be doing the back loop, for about 6-Miles.
