Leader's choice of trails. About 5 to 6 miles with a drop off point at 4 miles, moderate pace. Cypress Creek Natural Area is filled with trails and includes several of my favorite routes. Today: OPEN PRAIRIES TO THICK FORESTS. A walking stick is helpful. Bring water and a snack.
Directions: 10035 Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL. The parking lot is located on the north (right) side of Indiantown Road heading westward, by Jupiter Farms Road on State Road 706 (Indiantown Rd.), just past Riverbend Park. There is a McDonald's and a Publix across the road from the parking lot. No restrooms on site so use McD's or Publix prior to the hike. See map.
No participation number limit. No waitlist. Guests permitted if they can keep the pace which will be moderate.
