Details
Let do a fun hike on the Hickory Hammock trail, we will be hiking for about 4.5-Miles to the main campground, where we will take a break to cool down and have a snack. After our main break, we will hike back to our cars. Most of the trail is under shade with beautiful oaks and pine.
Let's meet at 7:00AM at the Trailhead off US-98. We will start hiking no later than 7:15AM. Please use the GPS coordinates (27.40247, -81.16881) to find the trailhead, you can miss the entrance very easily.
Bring plenty to drink (2+liter), a snack, etc. We will be hiking at a moderate pace, and will be taking breaks along the way as needed. There are no restroom facilities at the trailhead, but the campground has some toilets.
