Classic Loxahatchee Slough Hike on the OTLHT - 10+ Miles (Small Group)

Let's do a Small Group hike on the Classic Loxahatchee Slough route, we will hike at a moderate pace to the Campsite, where we will take our main break to cool down and have a snack. After the break, we will hike back to our cars.

Let's meet at 6:30AM at the Sweetbay Natural Area Parking Lot (GPS 26.8575, -80.23489). We will start hiking no later than 6:45AM. We will hike rain or shine.

The hike will around 10-Mile, so bring plenty of water (3-Liters), snacks, etc. to hold you over for the hike. We will be hiking in water, mud for a good portion of the hike, and could encounter overgrown vegetation.

Please Note That Our Meeting Location is at the Sweetbay Natural Area Parking Lot and NOT at the Loxahatchee Slough Parking lot. We will be crossing the Beeline (SR-710) to get to the trailhead from the parking area.

You must stay with the group for the whole hike, so make sure you can do the full 10+ miles.
