Fall brings cooler temperatures. Let’s get together for a members picnic.
The chapter will be providing the drinks and paper goods and sandwiches. Bring a side dish or dessert to share.
The cooler temperatures bring more opportunities to get outdoors. Florida Trail Association mission is to build, maintain trails and offer recreational opportunities to its members to get outdoors.
Okeeheelee Park offers several recreational opportunities. There are miles of paved and unpaved biking, hiking and running trails. You can canoe/kayak. The park offers freshwater stocked fishing. The Nature Center is open on Saturdays from 10am- 4:30pm. There is plenty of activities at the park to enjoy before and after our picnic.
