PUBLIC/STRENUOUS - Fast Paced - 13 miles - LOOPS 3 & 4

As most of you know, Dupuis is a 21,875 acre multi-use natural area in northwest Palm Beach County. The property is interspersed with numerous ponds, wet prairies, cypress domes, pine flatwoods and remnant Everglades marsh.

We plan on driving in from gate 1 on a dirt for about 6 miles to CYRPESS BOARDWALK parking area. Enter at GATE 1, go straight in and just keep following the dirt road for 6 miles (there is one 90 degree turn to your left, follow sign for fishing pier. You can also park on the right after entering Gate 1 and carpool in if you like.

Please bring enough water for this long hike. Also bring a hat, sunscreen, bug repellant, and a snack. Hopefully, the trail will be dry, but this of course depends on how much rain we continue to get....so always be prepared to get your feet wet. There is no port-a-potty at the trail head.
WALTER AHERN will be our chief HIKEOLOGIST!
