Update: The main work this day will be boardwalk repair. We will be replacing planks on a boardwalk in Loxahatchee Slough South. But if you are not good with tools there is plenty of clipping to do as well.

So here is your chance to give back a little. A great opportunity to show a little appreciation to the volunteers at FTA that built and maintain these trails and the leaders that take you out to enjoy them; by volunteering yourself. So come on out and give a hand, it'll be fun!

Wear closed toe shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirt, and gloves. If you have a clipping tool bring it but we have some extra tools and gloves if you don't. As always bring plenty to drink and a snack.

We will meet on the east end of the Publix parking lot (in front of the hardware store about halfway back. Then carpool caravan through a locked gate (we have key) onto the C-18 canal bank and too the pedestrain bridge between Lox Slough North and South. Will have to walk about a mile to the boardwalk. If you are good with tools and have a screw gun, small pry bar, apron for screws... feel free to bring them.
