Short notice, Loxahatchee Slough hike
Details
We will start at the Loxahatchee Slough natural area parking lot. Try to arrive early so we can start hiking no later than 7:15am.
We will hike to the C18 canal crossing. This will be an out and back. The hike will be approximately 9/10 miles.
You must have plenty of water with you. A suggestion would be to have frozen bottles of water with you. With the heat and humidity you can quickly get dehydrated. Bring a snack if you want. I suggest bringing bug spray, sunscreen and wearing a hat.
The trail has been dry but with the afternoon showers, conditions can quickly change.
