Dupuis Wildlife management 10 mile hike

Details

Let’s start June with a hike in Dupuis Wildlife management area. It is predicted to be slightly cooler this weekend. High near 87. You still need to bring plenty of water and a snack if you want one. We could get a rain shower while hiking. Plan accordingly if you want a rain cover.

We will meet at the Governor’s aka day picnic area. Let’s meet at 7 and start hiking no later than 7:15.

You will enter Dupuis at GATE 1 and drive about a mile until you see the day use sign.

We will be hiking loops 1, 2 and 3. This will be approximately 10.3 miles. Conditions have been dry but if we get rain every day this week the trail could be wet.

Bring plenty of water/Gatorade.
Bring bug spray and sunscreen.

Remember we practice leave no trace
