Florida Trail Association members event: Swamp Tromp at Grassy Waters

Due to limited space, the event is only for paid members of Florida Trail Association.

Check-in will begin at 9:15am inside the Nature Center, we’ll plan to start at 9:30am and Swamp Tromp until 11:00am.
A minimum of 10 people and max of 15.
Cost is $15 per person, cash or card will be accepted.
You must bring cash or card with you. No payment is due until day of the event.
Program description: Be prepared to get wet and muddy! This hike is on a rugged trail inside Grassy Waters Preserve that requires stepping over and ducking under vegetation and other obstacles. We will be guided by Charles Wilson, Environmental Education Coordinator at Grassy Waters Preserve.

Come Prepared: Wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and muddy. Shoes should fit tightly enough not to be pulled off by the mud (water shoes or old sneakers are best) Bring a refillable water bottle, hat, sunscreen, towel, and a change of clothes.
Bathrooms are on site for use before and after the hike.
