Grab your pack and gather your camping essentials and join us on the Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail (OTLHT)!

This year's event will offer 3 different ways to enjoy the trial.
1. Eastbound Section 3-days / 2-nights
2. Westbound Section 3-days / 2-nights
3. Eastbound Thru Hike 6-days / 5-nights

All participants registered for the 3-day hike will meet at the Hungryland Boardwalk parking lot in JW Corbett WMA ( just left of the Everglades Youth Conservation Camp (EYCC)) before boarding a complimentary shuttle to the trail heads and begin the hike. All participants registered for the 6-day hike will meet at the Kimbell Education and Visitor Center (Jonathan Dickinson State Park) Two groups of participants will hike approximately 30 miles from the ocean and lake trailheads of the Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail, meeting back at the Everglades Youth Camp to enjoy a celebratory cook-out after completing half of the OTLHT. Participants completing the entire trail will stay overnight at the EYCC before continuing on towards the ocean the following day. After reaching the ocean side trail end, shuttles will be provided to return hikers to the EYCC to retrieve their vehicles.

Notes:

• Capacity is limited to 48 hikers.
• Previous hiking and camping experience is strongly suggested for thru-hikers.
• Additional information will be provided and a pre-hike Q/A zoom meeting will be held to help with any additional questions you may have.
