Chapter Meeting, Everyone is Welcome

Everyone is welcome to join us for our Monthly Chapter meeting. Come out for our meet and mingle social half hour between 3-3:30p. We will have light snacks.
We will start our meeting at 3:30p. We will have a brief update before our guest speaker.
This month our guest speaker is Melissa Tolbert.

Melissa Tolbert is the Environmental Program Supervisor at Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management.

She will be presenting on the restoration efforts in the Loxahatchee slough. The Loxahatchee slough is a popular area for hiking. Our Ocean to lake hiking trail goes through the Loxahatchee Slough and is where Bea held her New Years day hike. Come out and hear the updates.

In exchange for holding our meetings at the Okeeheelee Nature Center we bring something for the resident animals. I will have an update list before the meeting. Usually sweet potatoes, Blueberries and romaine lettuce are always needed. If you are able to, please bring something for the resident animals.
