8 Mile Extended Loop de Loop Dupuis Hike

We will start at Gate 2 and hike loops 1 and 2 (see map) for approximately 8 miles. This is a hot and physically strenuous hike, but worth it! There is little to no shade on the trail so a hat and plenty of water is a must! No water, no hike! So be prepared!

NOTE: Expect the trail to have overgrown vegetation, standing water and/or muddy trails.

Everyone has to sign up individually through Meetup.

Let's meet at 7:15 a.m. at Gate 2 parking lot. We will start hiking no later than 7:30 a.m. Give yourself extra time since the Google Maps sometimes takes you to the wrong entrance. Please follow the directions so you don't get lost. We start on time, so please don't be late or you will be hiking by yourself!

Public/Strenuous - We will be hiking at a moderately fast clip.

Items to bring:
Water - 2-3 liters
Walking stick
Hat
Snacks
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Extra pair of shoes (after hike)
Can do attitude! :)
