National Trails Day Hike

Being a hiking group I can’t let this opportunity pass without having a group hike. Let’s meet at 7 am and start hiking no later than 7:15. This will be approximately 10.8 miles. We will start hiking from the parking lot and meet up with the OTLHT. We will take a break at the tower, and then continue on to the C18 canal. We will take a break at the canal and then head back to the parking lot taking a different route when we get back to the tower. This will make the hike more of a loop than an out and back. Right now the trail is very wet. This could change by time we hike. If you have not been hiking 10 plus miles, this is not the hike for you. It is mostly a single track trail that could be flooded. It is also a very beautiful section of the OTLHT.
Bring plenty of water, at least 2 liters
