Hungryland Slough Hike

There will be no Lox Chapter Meeting this month. Instead I invite you to celebrate National Trails Day by taking a hike with me on the Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail in the Hungryland Slough Natural Area.
We will meet a 8 AM at the County Trailhead for Hungryland.
Directions: Take Pratt Whitney Road north to the very end. You will pass the entrance to Corbett WMA.
The road bends the the right and becomes dirt.
In 0.2 miles you will come to a yellow gate with a parking area on your left.
I picked this area because we can also visit the soon to become trail relocation off of the Beeline and we will see some important management activities being conducted by PBC. There is also an interesting story about how the county acquired the property.
Unless we get significant rain in the next 2 weeks the trail should be dry
Due to limited parking I am limiting this hike to 10 people.
