Veteran' Day Soggy Bottom Hike

Come out and join the Choctawhatchee Chapter celebrating Veterans Day for a 5-mile hike on the soggy bottom section of the Cimarron Trail. This trail traverses along the Yellow River through cypress swamps, across several sloughs and is a side trail off the Florida National Scenic Trail.

This will be in an and out hike totaling approximately 5 miles.

We will have a chapter provided hot dog cookout for all the hikers after we complete our hike. . Please bring your own chair and beverages of choice.

Everyone is REQUIRED to have an Eglin recreational permit to participate in this hike.
