Magnolia / Lafayette Creek Loop on the Florida Trail

This will be a trail assessment loop hike which includes Florida Trail segments along Magnolia and Lafayette Creeks. We'll be assessing trail condition in preparation for the October 6-10 Volunteer Work Party. The route utilizes the Florida Trail and some off trail travel on forest roads to complete the loop. The location is on the Nokuse Section of the Florida Trail in Walton County on Northwest Florida Water Management District land. We’ll meet at the Florida Trail / Lafayette Creek Trailhead on J.W. Hollington Road at 8:00 AM CST.

Total length is approximately 6 miles. Anticipate wet and muddy segments, plan accordingly.

NO PETS will be permitted.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, lunch, rain gear, bug spray, sunscreen, & etc.
