National Trails Day Hike

We will meet in the parking lot where J W Hollington road intersects with the trail head for the FNST. Come out and enjoy a scenic hike in the Nokuse Land Conservancy along the Lafayette creek. This will be an "in and out" hike for total of 6.6 miles. Much of the trail will be in the flood plain. Protective clothes, sunglasses, insect repellant, closed toed shoes, and plenty of water. picnic at the halfway point: confluence of magnolia and Lafayette creek. Experience the cool creek water. A trip to the Dairy Queen in Freeport following the hike will end the outing. As always check this site by 6 AM on the day of hike for any changes.
