Veterans Day Hike

Veterans Day Hike - A hike for and to honor active military, veterans and disabled vets. That said, everyone is invited.

Location: Lafayette Creek segment on the Nokuse Section of Florida National Scenic Trail.

Hike Plan: Loop hike that includes the Florida Trail along Lafayette Creek to the confluence with Magnolia Creek. Returning via NWFWMD service roads and fire breaks. The hike will start and end at the Lafayette Creek Trailhead at the end of J.W. Hollington Road. Total distance is about seven miles. Pace will be slow to moderate with plenty of time to pause and appreciate.

NO PETS will be permitted.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, lunch, rain gear, bug spray, sunscreen, & etc.
