Lake Geneva State Forest Hike & Cookout

Come out with the Choctawhatchee Chapter and enjoy a springtime adventure at Lake Geneva State Forest. This state forest is located in Geneva County, Alabama near Kinston, Alabama. The forest is 7,120 acres and it is Alabama's largest state forest. The lake is approximately 100 acres.

We will take a leisure hike around the lake which is approximately 4 miles. Following the hike, we'll provide a hot dog cookout for everyone. Bring a side dish to share with everyone.

A daily permit fee of $5.00 is required for each person. This can be paid at a kiosk upon arriving at the lake.

FYI - Meetup somehow thinks the location is in Autauga County. This is incorrect, it is in Geneva County. The link to the lake is correct.
