What to expect
Join Florida Voices for Animals for a refreshing biweekly hike/nature walk followed by a community meal at a local vegan spot. This series helps us:
Connect with like-minded people
Support vegan restaurants (many are closing)
Boost physical and mental health in a fun, low-pressure way
Event plan
Start time: 8:00 AM sharp
- Meet and greet (8:00–8:10 AM)
Quick intros and route overview. - Group hike / walk (8:10–10:40 AM)
We’ll hike the Wilderness trail, Pine needle path, Black water cut off, flatwoods trail and Brooker Creek Education Centre Boardwalk
Distance: ~3.7 miles total
Duration: ~2 to 2.5 hours
Pace: moderate, with regroup points so nobody gets left behind - Vegan restaurant hangout (around 10:50 / 11:00 AM)
After the hike, we’ll drive about 15 minutes to The Green Table Trinity / Wild and Rooted for food and community time.
