Show Up for a New Pet Resource Center 🐾 | Sept. 24 County Budget Hearing
Details
Our community has another opportunity to speak up for Hillsborough County’s homeless animals.
Florida Voices for Animals is encouraging animal advocates to attend the second Hillsborough County Budget Public Hearing and Capital Improvement Program hearing on Thursday, September 24 at 6:00 PM.
A new Pet Resource Center has been discussed and planned for years. Advocates are asking Hillsborough County Commissioners to keep animal welfare and the need for a modern shelter facility in the County’s priorities.
If you care about dogs, cats, shelter animals, and responsible public investment in animal services, please consider joining us.

Whether you speak or simply attend, showing that Hillsborough County residents care about shelter animals sends an important message.
❤️ 40 years is long enough. Let’s respectfully ask the County to move forward with a safe, modern Pet Resource Center.
This is a Hillsborough County public hearing. FVA is encouraging community participation and is not the organizer of the government meeting.
