Bicycle in Homestead followed by lunch at "Robert is Here"

Details
A whole year has passed since our excursion to this abandoned site in Homestead. This is another of our old favorites with lots of history going back to the 1960s. The old facility which housed a rocket has long been abandoned, but there is plenty of graffiti artwork on the building walls and floors to explore. Remaining is some of the many warehouses now marked with graffiti. Bike ride itself is approx 10-12 miles but definitely worth the long drive.
We will meet at the parking behind Starbucks on the corner of E. Palm and Highway One Rd at 9:45. There will be time to run into Starbucks or Walgreens for a snack. At 10:15 we will caravan to our starting point for biking a few miles down the road. This is an old, paved road.
NOTE, there are no restrooms where we will be riding, thus meeting at Starbucks.
Here are some links on the history of the place:

Afterwards, we will stop at Robert is Here, a product market, specializing in Rare & Exotic fruits and vegetables with smoothie and barbeque stands and picnic tables near the petting zoo. See the history of Robert is Here through this link: https://www.robertishere.com/pages/about-us
Hope to see you there!
