Kayak at MacArthur Beach State Park followed by lunch nearby

Details
Kayak with us at John D Mac Arthur State Park.
John D MacArthur Beach State Park (John D. MacArthur Beach State Park Kayak) is nestled on one of Palm Beach’s barrier islands and is the only state park in Palm Beach County. It is an environmental treasure which has been preserved for present and future generations to experience.
There are 1.6 miles of pristine beach for swimming and snorkeling, hiking trails, an estuary for paddle boarding and kayaking, and a nature center. We may see manatee, dolphin, mullet, snook, rays, and a variety of birds.
We will meet at 9:00 am at the Beach Outfitters Gift Shop to rent our kayaks. RENTALS are 1st come 1st serve. They will run out of kayaks because this park has annual passes which include unlimited kayaking.
From the nature center we will head through the estuary to see the amazing plants and wildlife. Then we will paddle under Burnt Bridge into the Lake Worth Lagoon and head to Munyon Island for a break. We will spend 2.5 to 3 hours on the water. There is a strong current, so be prepared to paddle.
****Park Entrance Fee: $6
****Kayak Rental for 2.5 - 4 hours:

What to wear/bring:
