New Date: Friday Happy Hour at The Standard in Delray Beach
The Standard Delray, The Standard Delray, Southeast 2nd Avenue, Delray Beach, FL, USJoin us for happy hour this Friday at The Standard in Delray Beach. This venue offers plenty of discounted drinks and bar bites. I am providing a link to their menu:
Menu — standarddelray.comPARKING: If you are not familiar with Delray Beach, there is still some free parking available at the public library and tennis courts. Arts Garage is now pay by the hour. Be careful of some open lots and it can be upwards of $20 for 2 hours.
And, "no", we will not be walking the art walk. If you are interested in the art walk, I can provide guidance on seeing the art.

Sun Key Biscayne Bike Ride Starting at Virginia Key with Lunch Stop

Join us for bike riding from Virginia Key to Crandon Park, to Key Biscayne and through Billy Baggs Cape Florida State Park with a break at Cape Florida Lighthouse or on the docs at Boater's Grill. We might be lucky to see folks riding horseback in Virginia Key or catch a few windsurfers. This is truly one of our favorite rides that never seems to disappoint.
There are plenty of places to stop along the way for photo shots and bathroom breaks, and a snack. Bring plenty of water and a snack or you can pick something up along the way at the snack stands.
Note, part of the ride will be on the street going through a Key Biscayne neighborhood and then through part of Crandon Park.
On the way back, we can stop for a late lunch in Key Biscayne which has some really good bistros.
Parking: $10
Pull into Arthur Lamb Jr Rd the north entrance and drive to the end where there is plenty of parking for the mountain bike trails. (We will not be doing the mountain bike trails though.)Peddles up 10:00 am
