SUN AM WPB and Palm Beach Ride followed by Lunch nearby
Governmental Center 4th Street Parking Lot, 3rd St & Olive Ave, West Palm Beach, FL, USNOTE: Palm Beach no longer allows electric bike on the trails, including the Lake Trail, or on sidewalks. Check out the new on the Palm Beach Now website---bikes not allowed.
Join us for a leisurely ride downtown West Palm and the island of Palm Beach. Our ride will take us across the bridge to the island where we will hop on the trail along the intracoastal and come back down the island through the beautiful neighborhoods and partly on A1A. Site include Worth Ave, the famous The Breakers Hotel and The Flagler Museum. Other stops include Bradley Park and The Society of The Four Arts.
Pace will be between 9 and 12 miles per hour depending if we are on the sidewalk, trail, or street. Expect about 18 miles give or take. We will take pulse along the way and can provide short-cuts if you need a shorter ride.
Meeting Time: 10:00 am
Peddles Up: 10:15 sharp
Meeting Spot: Government Center 4th St Parking Lot across from
St. Anne's Catholic School Olive Ave between 3rd and 4th Steets
What to Bring: - Plenty of water
- sunscreen
- bike helmet
- bike flasher, if you have one
- bike lock (we may stop for lunch on way back)
- tire repair kit (came in handy during our last 2 rides)
- credit card or phone app to pay for parking (last few times were were there is was a flat $10 to park for the day)
