**NEW DATE*****Sun Bike Ride Shark Valley followed by Lunch
Everglades Shark Valley Visitors' Center , 36000 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33194, FL, USJoin us for the 15-mile bike loop in Shark Valley, in Everglades National Park, amongst the alligators.
"Located 30 miles west of Miami off the Tamiami Trail (U.S. Highway 41), Shark Valley is in the very heart of the Everglades freshwater. Halfway around the loop is a 70-foot high observation tower providing a panoramic view of the sawgrass marsh much as it appeared to the natives over 300 years ago. "
There, we will bike on the paved trail looking for gators and other wildlife and stop along the way for photos. When we get to the end, we will walk up the spiral tower to the top to view the landscape and to take more photos. There you should see lots of wildlife down below.
Meeting Spot: In front of the visitor center entrance
Meeting Time: 10:00 am
Peddles Up: 10:15 am
What to Bring: water, sunscreen, bug repellant, sunscreen, hot, snack (but no feeding the wildlife)
ENTRANCE FEE OPTIONS:
- Standard Pass of $35 ($20 on bicycle)
- paid with Credit Card the day of, or
- prepaid but you must bring physical copy or digital
- Annual Pass: of $70 (purchase on-line; will be mailed to you)
- Senior Annual Pass: $20 (purchase on-line; will be mailed to you)
- Senior Lifetime Pass: $80 (purchase on-line; will be mailed to you)

Kayak & Snorkel in Tequesta followed by Lunch nearby
Jupiter Pointe Paddle, 18701 SE Federal Hwy, Tequesta, FL, USTO BE UPDATED WHEN TIDES are POSTED
Join us for kayaking the crystal clear intracoastal waters in Tequesta. Last year we did clear bottom kayaking in this area, but clear bottoms are not a necessity. Expect to see turtles and star fish and other sea life.

Fees:
Single: $45 for half day
Double: $55 for half day
NOTE: THERE ARE LIMITED KAYAKS, SO PLEASE RESERVE.
Sign the waiver while you are on-line.
Bring your snorkel gear if you like. We might make it to Cato's bridge which has always been a good snorkel spot.
What to bring:
- ID which is required to rent
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Water
- Snacks if you like
- Towel and change of close for after showering if you are joining us for lunch
Parking is free and we won't need to move our vehicles for lunch at the restaurant is on site.
