SAT am Kayak Riverbend in Jupiter followed by Lunch
Jupiter Outdoor Center at Riverbend Park, 9060 Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL, US
Join us for Sun am kayaking at Riverbend.

We will kayak about 3 hours and go to lunch afterwards.

You can reserve kayak for 2 hours on Jupiter Outdoor Center website. We can pay for the extra hour after we return.

There is a waiver that needs to be signed, also. You can sign online or when you get there. Saves time when you do it ahead of time. Here is the link to reserve your kayak.
Jupiter Outdoor Center

This is our favorite place to kayak under the beautiful canopy of trees (see photo above) and in open areas looking for gators, otters and birds. The plan is to hit one dam, circle back and head to the island. All will depend on the depth of the water and the current.

Meet Time: 9:45 at tiki hut
Reservation Time: 10:00 am
Launch Time: 10:15 am
Time on Water: 3 hours

Reserve your kayak on line
- Single: $40, 2hrs
- Double: $60, 2hrs

What to Bring: Shorts, hat, water shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, and a change of clothes as we always manage to get wet.
There are showers to rinse off and a place to change.

Everyone is welcome to join us for lunch. Last few times, we went to the public golf course where the food and service were fantastic.

Sun AM Bike Ride West Boca (new route) followed by Lunch
South County Regional Park, Boca Raton, FL, US
Join us for our Sun am bike ride, new route, in West Boca Raton.

We will meet at South County Regional Park off of Glades. Drive past the dog park and playground to the amphitheater parking.

The ride will be a mix of park, trails, bike paths in park and on road, sidewalk, and some packed sand. Expect about 18 miles. Pace will be about 10-12 miles per hour. And, note, this will be the first time doing this ride. From what I see on the map, we should see some things that we have not yet seen on our rides in the past.

What to Bring:
- Helmet
- Flasher for back of bike if you like
- Lots of water, sunscreen, snack if you prefer

Sun Key Biscayne Bike Ride Starting at Virginia Key w/Stop for Lunch
Virginia Key, 4020 Virginia Key Beach Drive Miami, FL 33149, Miami, FL, US
Changing date again, due to iffy weather.

Join us for bike riding from Virginia Key to Crandon Park, to Key Biscayne and through Billy Baggs Cape Florida State Park with a break at the marina and Cape Florida Lighthouse. We might be lucky to see folks riding horseback or catch a few winder surfers in in Virginia Key or see some alligators and peacocks in Crandon Park. This is truly one of our favorite rides that never seems to disappoint.

There are plenty of places to stop along the way for photo shots and bathroom breaks, and a snack. Bring plenty of water and a snack or you can pick something up along the way at the snack stands.

Note that we will be riding on bike lanes, paved trails, and sidewalks. Expect about 18 miles total with a pace of about 10 - 11 miles per hour.

On the way back, we can stop for a late lunch in Key Biscayne which has some really good bistros.

Parking: $10 using phone app in park
Pull into Arthur Lamb Jr Rd the north entrance and drive to the end where there is plenty of parking for the mountain bike trails. (We will not be doing the mountain bike trails though.)

Peddles up 10:15 am

Sunday 9:45 AM Boca El Rio Trail Ride followed by Lunch
Costco Wholesale Boca Raton, 17800 Congress Ave, Boca Raton, FL, US
Let's bike the El Rio Trail, FAU, few other parks, and or possibly ride to the beach and back. Most rides are on paved trails, but if we choose to go to the beach we will be in bike lanes on the road. A1A we will be on the wide sidewalk.

What to bring:
- helmet
- flasher attached to the rear of your bike (highly recommended)
- plenty of water
- snack if you choose

Things to keep in mind:
- stay single file on the road when no marked bike lane (WPB & Jupiter)
- be mindful of traffic if riding along someone in a bike lane
- be on time
- RSVP if you plan to attend
- change your RSVP to “no” if you change your mind

MEETINGN PLACE: Costco parking lot just SW of the Gas Station, near
the gas station entrance against the trees/shrubs
MEETING TIME: 9:45AM
PEDDLES UP: 10:00AM

Our pace will be about 10-12 miles per hour. The ride is approximately 16-18 miles. Sometimes we will bike additional miles. Before deciding to do so, we always take a vote. Rest breaks are a given.
