Walk-ins are 1st come 1st serve.

Check in time is 15 mins before shuttle departure.
Shuttle leaves every 25 minutes.

HIGH TIDE IS 9AM, so we plan to snorkel as soon as we get there.
We usually walk a little down the beach past the restroom. There are some trees there for shade too.

If you take a later shuttle, look for my orange, aqua blue, and white beach blanket.
Join us for a day of snorkeling and beaching at Peanut Island in Riviera Beach, something our group has not done in many, many years.

"Peanut Island is an 80-acre man-made island located at the mouth of the Lake Worth Inlet in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. It was created in 1918 as a result of dredging-related projects. These projects not only formed the island but also created the Lake Worth Inlet and the Port of Palm Beach. Over the years, additional dredging contributed to the island’s growth from a mere ten acres to its current size of nearly 80 acres."

There are no concessions, so bring everything you need for the day, that includes snorkel gear, towel, dry clothes, sunscreen, water, food (no alcohol allowed). In addition to snorkeling, we can stroll around the island and relax on the beach.

There is a tiki bar nearby. Maybe we can go for an early dinner and cocktail after our ride back to the mainland.
