Dark Echoes - A Campaign for Unknown Armies 3rd Edition

Note: This is going to be a (hopefully) long-running campaign. Before you sign up, please make sure you will be able to attend the game on a regular basis. This first session will be Session 0 in which characters will be generated, the setting explained, and a brief intro to the campaign will be run.

The Terrance Building, Rochester NY - an abandoned, sixteen-story psychiatric hospital that looms over the area around it. Officially closed in 1995, but rumors say that the fifth floor, where the criminally insane were once housed, is still "active". The city has plans to demolish the building, but something always stalls the project. Power flickers in the building even though it's off-grid. Drones crash when flown near it. Teenagers dare each other to sneak inside. Most don't return.

The surrounding area, including Highland Park, the Genesee River Gorge, and decaying outbuildings from the Rochester State Hospital, is riddled with ley lines, forgotten rituals, and urban legends.

The characters are a group of modern-day weirdos, truth-seekers, and broken souls drawn together by a shared connection to The Terrance Building. Whether through trauma, obsession, duty, or sheer curiosity, something about this place has touched their lives. And it's calling them back.
