When the adventurers agree to help Rutger Reuter, a charismatic young merchant with big ambitions, the job seems simple enough: guard a shipment of building supplies bound for the marshlands. Easy coin. Minimal danger.

But what begins as routine escort duty soon spirals into tragedy, horror, and murder.

Caught between feuding business partners, whispered lies, and a camp thick with mistrust, the Characters must navigate treachery with sharp tongues and sharper instincts. All the while, something ancient has been disturbed in the reeds and mud — the Beast they were never meant to awaken.
