A Carcosa Fringe Festival - A One Shot for the Cthulhu Hack TTRPG
Details
This is a one shot adventure for the Cthulhu Hack TTRPG for 4-5 players. Pregens will be provided and rules will be taught at the table.
Note: Call of Cthulhu-themed costumes are encouraged but optional; if you chose to dress up, please nothing too silly or NSFW in order to maintain the mood of the scenario.
An old school friend of one of the characters is directing a play at the local fringe theatre. She reaches out and offers the players comp tickets if they’ll come to the show.
The play is called The King in Yellow, the infamous work that caused a worldwide panic when it appeared in late 19th century France. Rumors of insanity and cursed productions led to it being banned by authorities around the world. Long thought lost, a copy was recently found and your friend intends to mount a production for the first time in one hundred and thirty years.
It should be an entertaining evening of experimental theatre, strange performances, and avant-garde drama.
Probably.
