EMBARK on an exhilarating journey as we delve into the captivating art of fusion dancing, elevating your skill to unprecedented heights!

FOCUS will be listening and dancing to international world beats, with music clearly from distinct historical and cultural dances from many countries of origin including salsa, bachata, blues, lindy, tango, zouk, kiz, waltz to analyze and consider how the music is similar and/or different from each other.

EVOLVE the world music from their core styles into "fusion-y" mixes as we move to more electroswing, west coast swing, nuevo tango, and modern blues music.

PREPARE yourself for a crash course that not only unravels the secrets of these enchanting dance styles but also empowers you to unlock newfound control over your body.

BRACE yourself to put your newfound skills into action as you delve into the realm of partnered fusion dancing like never before!

💃🏻 About Your Hosts 💃🏻

MEREDITH LEVINE has been partner-dancing in Los Angeles for 20+ years, and is versed in Salsa, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Blues, Fusion, Micro and more. She has been teaching and DJ-ing in the fusion community for the last 5+ years. Her taste in music is geared towards intimate, yet dynamic dances. Her teaching style is informed by coming to fusion as a universal language of all social partnered dances.

PATRICK HAUGEN will be around to check you in and ensure water is filled and assist with any other needs.
