FLUG presentation about Fedora CoreOS /v Michael Klitgaard

Details
Fedora CoreOS is a powerful, container-focused operating system designed to run modern, scalable containerized applications. Built on Fedora’s cutting-edge technologies, it offers automated updates, a minimal footprint, and rock-solid security. Perfect for cloud-native environments, Fedora CoreOS integrates seamlessly with Kubernetes and other container orchestration platforms, making it an ideal choice for dynamic, large-scale infrastructures.
At our upcoming FLUG (Linux User Group) meeting, Michael Klitgaard will dive into the world of Fedora CoreOS. His presentation will feature a live demo of the coreos-installer, a quick guide to configuring with Butane and Ignition files, and a look at the powerful rpm-ostree hybrid image/package system.
Michael Klitgaard has extensive experience with Linux systems, including leading infrastructure migrations to the cloud at MediaCatch and deploying containerized apps on CoreOS. He also worked as a Production Operations Engineer at META/Facebook, managing server hardware on META's CentOS-derived OS.
