โ˜๏ธ Kubernetes, Continued: Running Clusters with Kind /v Jimmi Kristensen

Youโ€™ve heard about Kubernetes, maybe even attended our previous introduction โ€” but how do you actually run a Kubernetes cluster yourself without cloud accounts or complex setup?
In this follow-up talk, we take the next step and look at Kind (Kubernetes in Docker).

๐Ÿ” What Youโ€™ll Learn?
Jimmi returns to introduce Kind, a developer-friendly way to run Kubernetes locally. Kind runs fully inside Docker containers, making it easy to spin up real Kubernetes clusters on your own machine. Weโ€™ll explore how Kind works, why itโ€™s useful, and how it fits into a modern Kubernetes workflow โ€” especially for learning, testing, experimentation, and development.

๐Ÿ’ก Who Should Attend?
This session is ideal if you:

  • Attended our previous Kubernetes introduction
  • Want hands-on experience with Kubernetes
  • Are familiar with Docker and curious about running Kubernetes locally

๐ŸŽค Presented by: Jimmi Kristensen
Jimmi has a passion for distributed systems and is a strong proponent of microservice architecture, believing in their stability and maturity for large-scale production systems.
