โ๏ธ Kubernetes, Continued: Running Clusters with Kind /v Jimmi Kristensen
Youโve heard about Kubernetes, maybe even attended our previous introduction โ but how do you actually run a Kubernetes cluster yourself without cloud accounts or complex setup?
In this follow-up talk, we take the next step and look at Kind (Kubernetes in Docker).
๐ What Youโll Learn?
Jimmi returns to introduce Kind, a developer-friendly way to run Kubernetes locally. Kind runs fully inside Docker containers, making it easy to spin up real Kubernetes clusters on your own machine. Weโll explore how Kind works, why itโs useful, and how it fits into a modern Kubernetes workflow โ especially for learning, testing, experimentation, and development.
๐ก Who Should Attend?
This session is ideal if you:
- Attended our previous Kubernetes introduction
- Want hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Are familiar with Docker and curious about running Kubernetes locally
๐ค Presented by: Jimmi Kristensen
Jimmi has a passion for distributed systems and is a strong proponent of microservice architecture, believing in their stability and maturity for large-scale production systems.
