Meetup @ Stream (Amsterdam)

Details
We hope you all enjoyed and relaxed in the summer break! ☀️ Now Flutter Holland is back, with a new meetup on Thursday the 4th of September at Stream in Amsterdam.
There will be 2 talks (about WebRTC and about Agentic apps), 2 rounds of short talks (5-10-mins) and of course time to network.
Please keep your RSVP up to date!
Short Talks
The Short Talks are back from holiday as well! You'll have 5-10 minutes to share anything about Dart or Flutter that you like or have learned. If you're interested feel free to fill-in the question when you RSVP for this meetup, or contact one of the organizers or chime in at our #call-for-presentations channel on Slack.
This is your time to shine!

Agenda (under construction):*
17:30 - Doors open and food/drinks
18:30 - Welcome and introduction
18:45 - First talk: WebRTC for the brave Flutter devs
Speakers: René Floor, Team Lead Flutter SDK and Deven Joshi, Senior Developer Advocate @ Stream
Description: Ever wondered how two devices actually stream audio, video, and data in video calls?
We’ll unpack WebRTC fundamentals like SDP, ICE, and STUN/TURN in plain language and show how the pieces fit.
Then we’ll build it into a Flutter app: signaling, permissions, media tracks, and cross platform quirks.
Result? A working demo, production-ready patterns, and fewer tabs titled “what is WebRTC”.
19:30 - Short talks, round 1
19:45 - Break
20:00 - Second talk: Agentic apps with Gemini & Firebase
Speaker: Alfredo Bautista Santos, Flutter developer @ Greenflux and Flutter & Dart GDE
Description: Move beyond basic chatbots and discover the future of intelligent applications. This session dives into the world of agentic AI, where apps don't just respond—they reason, plan, and act. You will learn how to use Google's Gemini models with the Firebase AI Logic SDK to build truly autonomous experiences. Leave with the knowledge to create the next generation of smart, agentic apps that can perform complex tasks for your users.
Social media: Twitter / LinkedIn
20:40 - Short talks, round 2

Travel instructions:
- If you plan to come by car Parking in Amsterdam is expensive. You can use services like Parkbee or Vicky to find a cheaper alternative (than Q-Park) near the Stream office.
- If you plan to come by public transportation Unfortunately the Raadhuisstraat is under construction, so you can best walk from Amsterdam CS (train station), Paleisstraat (tram station) or Rokin (metro station).
===========================================================================
Notes:
- We do not record, livestream or broadcast this meetup. We’re fully focussing on a nice in-person meetup experience.
- Please keep your RSVP status up to date! Doing so helps organize the meetup tremendously (with waiting list, capacity planning, food & drinks). Thank you!
- Photography/Video Consent. Stream personnel might be taking photos and/or videos during the event and might use these photos and videos for social media and/or promotional materials. By coming to the meet-up, you give Stream your consent to take photos and videos of you.
