Join GDG Cloud Hong Kong on Saturday, July 25, 2026, for an intensive day of collaborative hacking, learning, and building with Google’s latest open-weights model: Gemma 4.
### 🏆 The Challenge: AI-Driven Blue Team Defenses
During this day-long developer sprint, your mission is to leverage the advanced reasoning capabilities of Gemma 4 to build next-generation cybersecurity defenses. Together with your team, you will design and deploy critical Blue Team solutions, such as:
- Autonomous Threat-Hunting Agents: Architect intelligent, self-directed agents capable of analyzing system behavior and identifying potential threats in real-time.
- Multimodal Architecture Analyzers: Build AI tools that can ingest complex network infrastructure diagrams and cloud-access logs to predict, detect, and neutralize multi-cloud attack vectors.

Think you need a Ph.D. in machine learning or years of LLM fine-tuning experience to make an impact? Think again. We are completely lowering the barrier to entry so passionate developers of all backgrounds can participate.

The judging process is designed to be swift and impactful, reflecting the rapid 1-day sprint format of this event. Our panel of experts will evaluate your submissions based on how effectively you utilize Gemma 4 models to build innovative and practical applications.
Rather than expecting production-ready polish, judges will focus on the core functionality, creativity, and real-world impact of your prototypes. Below is the official scoring rubric that will be used to evaluate each Kaggle Writeup and accompanying demo:
