🐦 Flutter Korea 2025 🪽
플러터(Flutter)는 Stack Overflow 설문조사에서 전 세계 개발자들이 가장 많이 사용하는 크로스 플랫폼 모바일 프레임워크로 선정될 만큼 압도적인 인기를 자랑합니다. 구글 플레이, 그랩, 위챗 같은 글로벌 서비스는 물론, 슈퍼셀의 인기 게임인 클래시 로얄과 브롤스타즈 역시 플러터로 개발되었습니다.

하지만 한국의 상황은 조금 다릅니다. Coupang, 카카오, KT, LG, LINE, NAVER, SKT 등 많은 기업에서 플러터를 사용하고 있지만, 핵심 서비스보다는 신규 서비스나 내부 운영 툴 개발에 주로 활용되고 있습니다. 기존 서비스가 이미 모바일 네이티브로 안정적으로 운영되고 있는 경우, 플러터로 전환하기란 현실적으로 쉽지 않습니다. 의사 결정권자가 강하게 추진하더라도, 팀 내 모바일 네이티브 개발자들이 새로운 기술 스택에 적응하는 데 어려움을 느끼기 때문입니다.

플러터가 2017년 알파 버전을 공개한 지 8년이 지났습니다. 이제는 아무도 플러터의 기술력 자체를 의심하지 않습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 국내에서 플러터가 빠르게 확산되지 못하는 이유는 무엇일까요? 저희는 모바일 네이티브에서 플러터로 전환하는 것에 대한 막연한 두려움 때문이라고 생각합니다. 모바일 네이티브에서 플러터로의 전환 경험 외에도 어떤 두려움이 있나요? 많은 개발자들이 하루가 멀다하게 올라오는 수 많은 AI 관련 뉴스에 뒤쳐지고 있다는 두려움을 느끼고 있습니다.

Flutter Korea 2025는 에서는 다양한 전환에 대한 경험을 공유하며, 두려움을 덜어낼 수 있는 시간을 마련했습니다. 직접 경험한 생생한 이야기를 통해 전환을 더 이상 두려워하지 않고 한 걸음 나아갈 수 있기를 바랍니다🙏

In a Stack Overflow survey, Flutter was chosen as the most popular cross-platform mobile framework by developers worldwide, boasting overwhelming popularity. Global services like Google Play, Grab, and WeChat, as well as Supercell's popular games Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, were all developed with Flutter.

However, the situation is a bit different in Korea. While many companies like Coupang, Kakao, KT, LG, LINE, NAVER, and SKT use Flutter, it's primarily for new services or internal operational tools rather than core services. It's realistically difficult to migrate existing, stable mobile native services to Flutter. Even if a decision-maker strongly pushes for it, mobile native developers on the team often struggle to adapt to a new technology stack.

Eight years have passed since Flutter's alpha version was released in 2017. No one questions its technical capabilities anymore. So why isn't Flutter spreading faster in Korea? We believe it's due to a vague fear of transitioning from mobile native to Flutter. What other fears exist besides the experience of migrating from mobile native to Flutter? Many developers are also afraid of being left behind by the flood of daily AI-related news.
