Greetings everyone!

We are picking up the pace (even more) and look forward to another great get together with amazing talks by awesome speakers!

This time we are happy to announce that the meetup will be hosted at the Google offices in Hamburg! We are looking forward to an exceptional evening :)

Backend Driven Content - Pedro Belfort

Backend Driven Content revolutionizes the traditional approach to mobile app development by shifting the control of the User Interface (UI) from the frontend to the backend. In conventional mobile application development, the device-installed app dictates the UI while the backend merely serves as a repository for data. This model often necessitates frequent app updates via the app store, which can be a slow and cumbersome process, taking anywhere from one to two weeks due to app store approval protocols.

In contrast, Server Driven UI enables real-time updates and quick fixes directly to the production environment. More than just a data source, the backend now also provides the app with dynamic instructions on how to construct, display, and interact with the UI. This results in a more agile development cycle and a seamless experience for the end user.
