Flutter Toronto + Maple Code crossover event!
Let's build a Flutter project together! Beginners and veterans are welcome alike.
The goal is to build an app together as a group. We will spend little time on teaching and most time on coding. I guarantee it's gonna be fun!
There will be discussions about how to build the things we want, or how to fix the things we don't want. All synchronous. We will try our best to make progress, but probably won't finish the app during the event.
## Event Agenda
- 14:00 - Intro & settle in
- 14:15 - Decide what to build. (Divide into sub-groups if we need to)
- If you are interested in trying Flutter, please install it before coming! It takes a while to do so.
- I suggest installing the target platform you want to build on. Android Studio for Android or XCode for iOS.
- Don't forget to install an emulator/simulator OR bring a USB cable to run the app on your own phone!
- 14:25 - Build
- 16:00 - Hang out a little more or go home
## Event Policy
We have 0 tolerance for harassment. Tell the event hosts if there's anything that makes you uncomfortable.
Also, buy a drink from the cafe & tip the barista please :)

Flutter is a multiplatform framework, mostly used to create mobile apps, created by Google and now it is independently run by the Flutter Foundation. Our meetup is usually held on a monthly basis for people to chat with and meet each other!
