## Talks
Dominik Edgar Szpilski - Improving Your App's Security
Speaker info: Dominik has been working with Flutter for over six years. Driven by a constant desire for growth, he’s been seeking new challenges from the beginning of his journey, analyzing what he doesn’t know yet, and considering how to change that. You can find him at nearly every Flutter meetup in Poland, both as a speaker and a participant.
Talk info: Every day, whether we’re deciding which package to use, how to write specific functionality, or how information is stored in our mobile apps, we are consciously or unconsciously impacting its security. In this presentation, we’ll dive into the OWASP 2024 list of the biggest threats to mobile applications, discuss storing secrets, data storage, communication with external services, and explore ways to defend against these threats in those areas. We’ll also consider if these precautions are worthwhile for your application and how to avoid becoming overly paranoid about security.
..........................
Patryk Kacperski - Using Bluetooth (BLE) in Flutter
Speaker info: Mobile developer since 2017. Started with iOS and moved to Flutter after a couple of years. Now a Flutter developer at LeanCode
Talk info: In this talk, I’ll break down the essentials—what’s inside Advertisement Data, the roles of Peripherals and Centrals, and how Services, Characteristics, and Descriptors shape communication. Once we've covered the fundamentals, we'll dive into a demo, showing how to send and receive data via BLE in a Flutter app. Whether you're new to BLE or looking to level up your skills, this session will give you the hands-on knowledge to start building smart, connected apps!
