🌿 Learn about natural Florida!

Jennifer Mitchell is Public Communications Coordinator with the St. Johns River Water Management District. She is passionate
about Florida’s incredible water resources and hopes to spark your interest in what you can do to help protect Florida’s waterways. After earning her Ph.D. in Forest Ecology from Auburn University, she completed a post-doc at
the University of Florida in Soil and Water Science. Because she realizes that greater results will come from more community participation, she now works to spread the message of how individuals can reduce their impact on our waterways.

Established in 1972, the St Johns River Water Management District is an environmental regulatory agency of the state. In this presentation, learn what the district does to accomplish its four missions of providing water quality, water supply, flood protection, and maintaining natural systems.

Cuplet Fern is pleased to have Linda present to our community. Free admission. Donations towards YOUTH ECO-CAMP 🤗 welcomed and highly encouraged at the meeting! Small selection of locally grown native plants also available for purchase (proceeds go towards YOUTH ECO-CAMP SPONSORSHIPS!)👦👧🏽👦🏾
