About us
Flutter is Google’s toolkit for building beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. In short, you can write code once and have applications on all platforms! For more info, check out https://flutter.dev/
The goal is to have meetups once a month in a relaxed environment to discuss Flutter & cross-platform development. See you at the next one!

Flutter Study Group: Accountability & Beginners Welcome!
·OnlineOnlineJoin us for a weekly accountability session dedicated to mastering mobile development with Flutter. This is a space to study, share resources, and help each other grow.
Beginners are welcome! Even if you know nothing about Flutter, Dart, or programming in general, you belong here. Please note that I am also studying alongside you, but I am happy to provide remote support for newcomers to get you off the ground.
How to get help: If you get stuck with your setup or code, please speak up or write in the chat so I know you need a hand. I can provide remote assistance with:
- Setting up your IDE (VS Code or Android Studio).
- Running your very first app.
- Walking through basic Dart concepts.
Technical Requirements: To ensure a smooth experience for running the Flutter emulator and tools, we recommend:
- RAM: 8GB minimum (16GB highly recommended).
- Processor: 64-bit CPU (ideally 2018 or newer).
- Storage: SSD with at least 250GB of free space.
Why join us?
Learning a new framework can be overwhelming when you're alone. By joining this group, you get the structure of a dedicated study time and a friendly environment where no question is too small. Whether you are building your first app or prepping for a career change, we are here to support each other's progress.
The event is on Discord. Please join FlutterMTL to attend: https://discord.gg/NMc62wG7eU
